Here is a horse feeder that will custom feed your horse as well as protect horse feed from the elements! On top of this, manual labour is not needed with this fully automated system.

Designed with programmable opening and closing panels for controlled delivery of feed. Any 24 hour feeding regime can be implemented up to a maximum of 10 feedings per day.

Ensuring safety for horses was paramount in the design of this feeder. The panels rise up versus down to prevent any possible entrapment of a horse's head. The top of the rising panels has a safety feature to reverse the motor (which lowers the panels immediately) that is activated when any contact is made. There is also ample space remaining above the panels when the feeder is closed as another safety feature.

Having small amounts of feed available to horses at a more constant rate decreases the rate of stomach ulcers, and provides environmental enrichment by giving them something to do more often throughout the day.

This feeder is also a great option for foundered or Cushings horses to help regulate their feed intake, as well as for ponies or other horses prone to obesity to control their intake while still allowing them to eat often.
