Portable Calving Barn
Description
Our fully equipped Portable Calving Barn is comprised of three detachable sections that when put into place and pinned together create a completely functioning, easy to use calving barn with everything that could possibly be needed for the season. This barn is the perfect solution for rotation of calving grounds to reduce possible spread of disease. Being a fully portable structure, our barn allows for economical proximity of the calving barn to the calving herd.
Key Features
- Heavy duty swinging doors on either end for easy cleaning
- Left side includes a heavy duty steel maternity pen and two large box stalls built into frame
- Right side is comprised of a fully insulated and heated medicine/tack room and another two box stalls
- Alley down middle of the barn to allow access to maternity pen and box stalls
- Maternity pen with a safety winch to prevent producer from having to enter the crowding panel area
- Rear head-gate control feature that allows easy operation from behind the maternity pen
- Look out door located in front of maternity pen to allow views of outside to reduce stress to cattle as it enters the pen
- Fully wired with water sealed lights
- Built-in skids to make the transportation of the barn easy
- Optional hot water tank, sink and fridge add-ons are available
