Description
The Pair-Out Pen was designed as a mechanism for tagging and vaccinating calves in a safe environment for all, the cattle and the handler. The system is placed in the gateway between the calving field and the pair-out of nursery field to catch a cow and calf separately. The cow and calf remain side by side to lower the stress of the animals while the calf is being treated. Once done, the cow and calf leave the Pair-Out Pen through the back gate together in to the field.
